Epic Games acquires Cary Towne Center

The gaming company plans to make the building its new HQ

Epic Games has been bringing in new offers one after the other and attracting more gamers towards its gaming platform. The company is directly competing against the widely famous Steam gaming platform. But that’s not just it.

The company is trying to expand its facilities even more as if it is preparing for a large-scale invasion. According to sources, Epic Games has successfully acquired the ownership of the Cary Towne Center from Turnbridge Equities and Denali Properties.

The area measures 980,000-square-foot and 87-acre and reports indicate that the gaming industry will use it to make its new Epic Games campus ‘HQ’.

Cary, NC Mayor Harold Weinbrecht said:

“We’re extremely proud that Epic has chosen to call Cary home for their new global headquarters, and we greatly appreciate the company’s recognition of Cary’s existing assets as well as the unlimited potential of the area for their growing business. We look forward to continuing to work closely and collaboratively with the Epic team as they conceptualize their new campus, and we’re honored to partner with them on this exciting new development.”

The company is planning to expand its workforce to work on new game projects. The company is also working on making Fortnite continues to be updated and improved.
