The new v20.20 update to Fortnite Chapter 3 S2 has added quite a lot of new content to the game. It has also attracted a lot of players’ attention lately. Let us define these new changes down below.
Map Changes
Although the Fortnite Chapter S2 map remains the same, with every update to the game’s lore, a few changes take place here and there. And this time, it is Coney Crossroads. According to the updated storyline, the chaos of Condo Canyon has shifted to Coney Crossroads. A few subtle changes were made to this scene, as the Resistance grows stronger here, including Funding Stations for the Armoured Bus and a sleek umber of turrets.
Weapon Changes
Another key highlight of this new v20.20 update to Fortnite Chapter 3 S2 is the addition of a new weapon in the game. The snipers and shotguns are two of the loved weapons choices in the game, and as the news of a new shotgun being added to the game revolved, everyone became very excited about it. The new shotgun class weapon is called the Ranger Shotgun. It is a single shot per reload, and each of them deals heavy damage to the enemies. This single barrel shotgun is ideally used for both close and mid-range altercation during matches.
Utility Changes
Weapons are not the only important things about Fortnite Chapter 3 S2. There are various types of utilities in the game that are very important too. And two new ones are being added to the game for testing purposes. They are the Rift-To-Go and the Boogie Bomb. The Rift-To-Go creates an emergency rift when activated, while the Boogie Bomb traps enemy players in a dancing frenzy.
The testing period of these new utilities will start from 22nd to 25th April. Players can vote for their favourite one at the Funding Stations.
New Quest
A new quest has been added to the game called the Covert Ops Quest in Fortnite Chapter 3 S2. It starts from tomorrow and will go on till 2nd May 2023. Here are all the quest schedules that you need to know;

- Stage 2 of Covert Ops Quest – 26th April at 09:00 AM ET to 28th April at 08:59 AM ET
- Stage 1 of Covert Ops Quest – 28th April at 09:00 AM ET to 30th April at 08:59 AM ET
- Stage 1 of Covert Ops Quest – 30th April at 09:00 AM ET to 2nd May at 08:59 AM ET
