Omni Chips’ importance in Fortnite Chapter 3 S2?
The Omni chips are used to upgrade the Omni Sword, which can be acquired from the in-game battle pass. This sword has many customization and upgradability options, including its blade, colour, handguard, sound effect, etc. Thus, you can collect as many Omni Chips in Fortnite Chapter 3 S2 as you want and spend them on upgrading your Omni Sword.
Where to find Week 5 Omni Chips in Fortnite Chapter 3 S2?
With each passing week, the game developers release 9 Omni chips for players to find. They are scattered around the map within different POIs, in a group of 3. This week’s, i.e. Week 5, Omni Chips are located within these below mentioned POIs;
- Rocky Reels [3]
- Launchpad [3]
- Shifty Shafts [3]
Omni Chips in Rocky Reels
You can find the first Omni chip at the waffle food stand, located on the north-eastern side of Rocky Reels. The second and the third ones can be acquired from the tall building with a white screen and inside the arcade on the southwestern side of the POI.
Omni Chips in Launchpad
The first chip can be found at a building located on the southeastern side of the POI. The second one is located at the eastern edge near a circular object. And the last one is located on the Northern side of the island, below the buildings that are connected with a bridge.
Omni Chips in Shifty Shafts
You will find the first Omni chip at the end of the wooden platform, over the truck. The second one should be underneath the wooden stairs, that they can reach by jumping down from the previous point. The last one should be near the previous point, over at the tracks.
