Genshin Impact 1.4 : An Easy [RES] Potions Guide

Genshin Impact is an action, adventure, role-playing game that has grown a lot since its release. Genshin Impact features cross-platform support, a vast and interesting map, an interesting and immersive story and a great combat system. There are a lot of things to do in the game other than just to fight head-on, like finding stuff, leveling up, crafting weapons or materials with proper resources at shops, etc.

One of such features in Genshin Impact is Alchemy. Alchemy is a pretty impactful source in the game from where players can obtain crucial products that will be of huge help in their journey. Alchemy shops can be found in large cities, one is at our friendly Mondstadt and players can put in the proper resources to obtain some useful stuff out of it.

Potions play a huge role in Genshin Impact and we have been talking about it for quite some time. Potions are a product of Alchemy and some of them has already been featured in a couple of our articles. Potions are generally of two types, one is Essential Oils that are helpful to boost specific Elemental DMG of party players and the other is Potions that offer vital Resistance against specific elemental enemy attacks.

Guide to RES Potions

There are a total of six Potions for RES and six Essential Oils for DMG. This article intends to talk about the former only. The six Potions and their usage are;

  1. Desiccant Potion – This potion increases Hydro Resistance [RES] by 25% for all current party members. This effect lasts for 300 seconds.
  2. Dustproof Potion – This potion increases Geo Resistance [RES] by 25% for all current party members. This effect lasts for 300 seconds.
  3. Frostshield Potion – This potion increases Cryo Resistance [RES] by 25% for all current party members. This effect lasts for 300 seconds.
  4. Heatshield Potion – This potion increases Pyro Resistance [RES] by 25% for all current party members. This effect lasts for 300 seconds.
  5. Insulation Potion – This potion increases Electro Resistance [RES] by 25% for all current party members. This effect lasts for 300 seconds.
  6. Windbarrier Potion – This potion increases Anemo Resistance [RES] by 25% for all current party members. This effect lasts for 300 seconds.

  • 1 Flaming Flower Stamen

5. Insulation Potion

  • 1 Electro Crystal
