Genshin Impact has just launched an exclusive new web event called ‘The Great Banquet of the Adepti. The ideal part about this event is that players can earn free primogems of up to 120. The Great Banquet of the Adepti Event
Players would probably be wondering why did miHoYo launch another event while one is ongoing. Well, The Great Banquet of the Adepti event resembles the same theme of the Lantern Rite Event, we can conclude it as a subpart of it. The Great Banquet of the Adepti is where the traveller, accompanied by Paimon, goes on adventures on the sea and obtain Shimmering Shells along. The items earned in this event can be sued in Genshin Impact’s Serenitea Pot to unlock locations and can reward players with 120 Primogems.

The event has already started as it’s scheduled to have on 28th Jan 2023 and will be running up until 6th February 2023.
The Great Banquet of the Adepti Guide
The main task of the event requires players to collect Shimmering Shells. Players can earn them in four main ways;
- Daily login reward- 200 Shimmering Shells
- The reward for completing 2 Daily Commissions- 100 Shimmering Shells
- The reward for daily using 40 Original Resin- 100 Shimmering Shells
- Salvaging Treasure while out on sea- 400 Shimmering Shells
Each of these tasks will get reset at 04:00 AM (ST) so you would have enough time.
Salvaging Treasure while out on sea- Guide
This is a part of the event where you can go out in the sea and collect treasures. This one is the most interesting out of the four. To start this, players need to click on the ship icon located at the bottom right of The Great Banquet of the Adepti event page. This will open up a mini-game. You can play this mini-game three times each day and each game will last for 60 seconds.
You will have to catch the items and the treasures in the minigame, where they will convert into Shimmering Shells after each game finishes. Each item carries its value, hence a different outcome. You can use these Shimmering Shells to unlock different areas in the Serenitea pot and earn free Primogems.
Locations to unlock
These are the locations to unlock and each of them will give you Primogems, worth up to 120.
- Splendid Fireworks- 30 Primogems
- Iridescent Kites – 30 Primogems
- Luck and Abundance – 25 Primogems
- Wish Upon a Lantern – 25 Primogems
- Jade Delicacies – 10 Primogems
