One of such weapons is the classic bow and arrow combo.
The bow and arrow in Valheim, just like in any other survival game, is very useful to deplete damage from a long-range, keeping you out of the harm’s way of the enemy. It can also be used in the hunting of wild animals who have fast movement speed and you only have a sleek chance of killing them with one blow before they runoff. There are four different types of bow that you can craft in Valheim, along with ten types of arrows.
Categories of Arrows in Valheim
These ten types of arrows are divided into two categories, one is called the Basic arrows and the other one is known as the Elemental Arrows. We will be talking about the second category of arrows, how to craft them and their usage.
What are Elemental Arrows?
These are a bit better than basic arrows as they not only deal with normal pierce damage but also inflicts elemental damage to the target. The total damage of these arrows is implanted by piercing, elemental and knockback damage. These are very useful in certain scenarios and having some on you will definitely help you in the further progression in Valheim.
What are the types of Elemental Arrows and how to craft them?
There are four types of elemental arrows and they are not much hard to craft,
- Fire Arrows– This type of elemental arrows converges piercing damage with fire damage and provides total damage of 33. The components required to craft a batch of 20 fire arrows are:
- 8 Wood
- 2 Feathers
- 8 Resin
- Poison Arrows– This type of elemental arrows converges piercing with poison damage and provides total damage of 78. The components required to craft a batch of 20 poison arrows are:
- 8 Wood
- 2 Feathers
- 2 Ooze
- 4 Obsidian
- Silver Arrows– This type of elemental arrows excels in piercing damage by spirit damage of silver as a combined material and provides total damage of 72. The components required to craft a batch of 20 silver arrows are:
- 8 Wood
- 2 Feathers
- 1 Silver
- Frost Arrows– This type of elemental arrows converges piercing damage with piercing ice and provides total damage of 78. The components required to craft a batch of 20 frost arrows are:
- 8 Wood
- 2 Feathers
- 4 Obsidian
- 1 Freeze gland
