About the quest
One of the new quests in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 requires players to collect an item called the Omni Chips. As requested by Omni Blade, players need to collect several Omni chips in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 in order to complete the challenge and be able to customize their Omni Sword’s blade, colour, handguard and sound effect.
First thing first, players will need to purchase the latest battle pass in the game to obtain the Omni Sword itself. When you do that, all the customization options for the Omni Sword will unlock. But you will need several Omni Chips to go through with the series of upgrades. These are hidden all over Fortnite island and more will be available in the game in the long run. Meaning, you will have all season to have a number of upgrades on the Omni Sword.
Currently, there are 9 Omni Chips in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 and they are scattered around the map within three locations. More of these will be available in the game soon, keeping the upgrade stuff alive.

Omni Chips at Mighty Monument
There are three of these available in this location. Players will find the first one at the western side dock. The second one can be found under the Northern side rock formation. As for the last one, you will get find it on the easternmost side of the Mighty Monument, in front of the tiny landform.
Omni Chips at Greasy Grove
You will find the first one at the eastern side crosswalk, the second one between two benches on the southern side and the last one in front of the cash counter within the taco restaurant.
Omni Chips at Logjam Lumberyard
You will find one within the large building, another one at the eastern side of stacked wood sheets and the last one near the southwestern side of one of the log stacks.
