There are so many possibilities in Minecraft and having a Loom just makes your creative outlook more diverse.
There are multiple tools and items in the game. Each of them has its specific usage and most of the time, multiple things are combined to create something else. For instance, the Furnace is a very useful tool that is needed to make ingots from raw materials such as gold, silver, copper, etc.

Loom in Minecraft
Loom is a great example of an important tool in the game. It can be considered as a type of crafting table where you can make yourself a banner of your choice. It doesn’t require a lot of space and is actually a block, that you can easily place somewhere on your base and create banners.
How to Make a Loom?
Making a Loom in Minecraft is very easy. The materials required for it are also very easily found in the open world.
Materials Required to make a Loom
- 2 Blocks of Wood Planks
- 2 Strings
Now you can use any kind of wooden planks of the same kind, be that oak wood plank, birchwood plan, etc. You can easily gather strings as a drop by defeating a spider mob.
Once you have all the materials required in your inventory, go to a Crafting Table and press Right Click. There, you have to place a String each at Crafting Square 1 and Square 2. Then you have to place one wood plank each at Crafting Square 4 and Square 5. And there you have it, your brand new Loom in the output.
You can also visit a nearby village and steal a Loom from one of the villagers, sure they won’t mind.
How to Use a Loom in Minecraft?
There are 3 input and 1 output slot in the Loom. The three inputs are for different materials to put in. Serially, players need to put in a banner, followed with a dye and then select a banner pattern. Once these are all set, you can just weave them together to get yourself a banner specific to your liking.
Our thoughts
