Just like the other materials, Concrete is also available in the game. It is both sturdy and you can have it in different colours too. There are 16 different colours of concrete in the game and they are amazing to build structures that will stand tall.
How to get Concrete in Minecraft
Minecraft is full of different materials and elements that you can find while exploring. But the case here is different. You can’t find Concrete in the game, just lying somewhere. In order to get it, players have to craft it from the scratch. But do not worry as the coloured Concrete making process is not that complicated.
Before we start explaining the process, you will need to acquire the raw materials required for it.
Materials Required:
- Sand Block (4)
- Gravel Block (4)
- Dye (1)
These are the materials required to make coloured concrete powder in the game. And of course, the colour of the dye depends on your choice so feel free to explore that category.
How to craft Coloured Concrete Powder
Go to your Crafting table and press right-click. This will open up your crafting menu where you have to correctly place the ingredients in order.
Place the coloured Dye in Slot 1, followed by one Sand Block each on Slot 2,3,4 & 5. As for the remaining slots, i.e., Slot 6,7,8, & 9, place one Gravel Block each. By doing so, you will have 8 Units of coloured Concrete Powder.
How to make Solid Concrete from Concrete Powder
You will receive 8 units of Coloured Concrete Powder from the first stage. Each of these units will produce one block of Concrete. Now find a water source, preferably near your construction site. Place your blocks on coloured concrete powder on the water body. And after doing so, they will instantly solidify, and become solid blocks of coloured concrete.
Now use your Pickaxe, preferably Gold or Diamond, to quickly mine these Concrete blocks from the water body. Collect them and you will have these in your inventory, ready to be used for construction.
