New Pokemon Snap brings the players to capture unique pictures of 200 pokemon out of the existing 800 ones from the world of pocket monsters. And in the game, we have an item called the Illumina Orb that will aid in capturing these unique pictures of pokemon’s doing some never-before-seen actions.
The Illumina Orbs are an interactive item that can be thrown at Pokémon in the wild. They will cause a Pokémon to briefly glow and act in new and often unpredictable ways. Players can then snap photos of these new behaviors and store them in their albums.
If you are lucky enough then, Illumina Orbs can even lead Pokémon to unlock hidden passages, which in turn will allow you to meet some hidden Legendary and Mythical Pokémon that cannot be found in any other place.
Before you get to use the Illumina Orbs, however, players will have to find and photograph Crystabloom flowers. But these flowers cannot be found in the same place or even at the same times on every stage, so players will need to do some digging each time they enter a new area of the Lental Region.
After successfully capturing the images of the Crystablooms, Professor Mirror will give them Illumina Orbs to use in the area. So, let’s see how to find and photograph Crystablooms and unlock Illumina Orbs on the Lental Seafloor in New Pokémon Snap.
How To Find The Lental Seafloor Crystabloom in New Pokémon Snap
First players will have to unlock Research Level 2 of Maricopa Reef which will unlock the Lental Seafloor. Players can find the Crystabloom just past the opening area of the Lental Seafloor, allowing players to unlock Illumina Orbs right away. Remember that in the Ocean areas, Crystablooms glow pink.
Then upon reaching the seaweed field on the Lental Seafloor, look to your right and you find a sleeping Lumineon. Just toss a Fluf-fruit at the Lumineon to wake it up and get it to move out of the way of the shot. Then, just photograph the Crystabloom behind it.
One piece of advice to players is that you need to unlock the Illumina Orbs as soon as possible because they not only allow for unique, dynamic photo opportunities and greater chances for four-star scored photos, but they also are sometimes required to complete specific LenTalk research requests.
Hope you are enjoying Snapping at the world of Pokemon.
