As you venture in week 9 of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6, you will receive a number of quests that you can complete. One of them is to activate a rift after purchasing it from a character.
Where to activate a rift by purchasing it from a character in Fortnite?
To purchase the rift, you will need a few gold bars, as it is quite expensive. Precisely, 245 gold bars are needed to purchase a rift from a character and rewards you with 24,000 XP upon completion.
There are a few NPCs you can meet to purchase the rift from.:
Cabbie – West of Sweaty Sands.
Rebirth Raven – Lazy Lake.
Raz – Colossal Crops.
Castaway Jonesy – Island north of Steamy Stacks.
Willow – Weeping Woods.
You can land on any of these spots and meet these particular NPCs. Pay the NPC 245 gold bars, and click on the ‘Activate Rift’ option. We recommend not visiting Castaway Jonesy as he is unreliable and has different spawn locations. Have fun!
